First and foremost, we want to thank you wholeheartedly for your support! Through the Natural Disaster Relief Fund (Sikh-Aid) we have been able to provide aid after a massive landslide and flood in the Huachipa district of Lima, Peru. 15 volunteers from the UNITED SIKHS Peru chapter jumped into action to help families in need. The volunteers have been providing everything from bottled water to hot meals to flood victims, serving as many as 150 people a week. Earlier this month, the UNITED SIKHS humanitarian aid team set out to support and serve langar to thousands of evacuees affected by Cyclone Debbie, a category 4 Cyclone that hit northeast Australia. To continue to support these efforts please give to the UNITED SIKHS Natural Disaster Relief Fund. We are only half way towards our annual goal!
The Gurkirpa Health Network of UNITED SIKHS team in Dhamot, Punjab continues to serve locals and provide healthcare at discounted rates. Listen to patient share her thoughts about the health center. To support these efforts, donate here!
